My Therapeutic Mission: Compassion, Culture, and Community
I am a highly experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Boston. With dual master’s degrees—from Wheelock College in Early Intervention and Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology—I bring decades of practice supporting individuals across the lifespan.
I see myself as a compassionate guide and a steady presence for those navigating life’s most complex and painful moments. My journey as a bilingual, multicultural therapist has been shaped by a deep commitment to connection, healing, and justice.
Guided by psychodynamic and existential principles, I see therapy as more than a clinical process—it is a shared human experience. At the core of every session, I believe, is a search for meaning, belonging, and authentic connection. My clients aren’t just treated; they are deeply seen and heard.
Over the years, I have walked alongside children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges. I have become a trusted guide for survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence, as well as for those navigating the emotional aftermath of cancer. My ability to sit with pain while holding space for possibility is what makes my work truly transformative.
My practice is deeply rooted in community. Having worked in high-risk neighborhoods, I understand the intersection of trauma, poverty, and resilience. I have led parenting programs, supported early childhood development, and helped individuals rebuild their lives in the wake of violence and systemic inequity. My therapeutic work is never detached from the real-world contexts in which my clients live.
What also defines my work is cultural fluency. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, I bridge gaps in understanding and provide care that resonates with the cultural backgrounds of my clients. My approach is warm, safe, and person-centered, creating a therapeutic space where resilience is nurtured and new narratives can take root.
I don’t just help people cope—I help them reimagine their lives with compassion, clarity, and courage.
